Initial Release Devlog


Greetings!

This is the first solo game I have released! :D

 

I wanted to work on a simple project, so I built a tiny game of clicking on falling shapes to save them from breaking apart on impact.

I thought the “Choices” element added some fun “guided randomness” to the game. I enjoy the aspect of having limited choices and making the best of them. It’s a great life philosophy!

I had fun with the breaking effect! It was the core effect I wanted to create the game around. It is a combination of a particle effect and a script that adds Rigidbodies to all the children of the wooden objects. If the meshes intersect, it has a cool scatter effect.
